about the author

This story was written about 30 years ago when Norma Taylor lived on a farm with her husband, Ken. One day, as Ken fixed the tractor, Norma sat in the farm utility and wrote a short story on a scrap of paper about a tractor. The story was forgotten, and put aside. The couple were struggling farmers; they didn’t have electricity or means of sending it to a publisher. But many years later, it came to light in some old papers. Norma thought there must be a reason why she never threw it out and kept it all those years. A lot of the stories are based on fact, and some fiction. She has written a lot more stories of Teddie and happenings on the farm.
